Iconix was founded in 1998 and has been financed by the venture capital firms Abingworth Management, Institutional Venture Partners, and Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers. In addition, Iconix has received equity financing from its strategic partners, Motorola, and MDS Pharma Services.
