The data set includes information on biological systems that have been treated in vivo and in vitro with a broad and deep collection of drugs and toxicants.

The primary dimensions of data integrated by DrugMatrix are those drawn from new experimental results—molecular pharmacology profiles and gene expression profiles—and literature profiles, extracted from primary, secondary, and on-line sources. DrugMatrix also includes extensive pathology data on each animal in the in vivo expression array domain.
